Shenandoah University

Shenandoah University’s internationally accredited Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business offers two unique degree programs at its Northern Virginia Campus. 

 

The Bachelor of Business Administration- Degree Completion Program is a 24-month, accelerated program consisting of 60 semester hours of concentrated business coursework.  To qualify, students must have completed at least 60 semester hours of college coursework and meet Shenandoah’s general education requirements

The Master of Business Administration- Weekend Program is a 16-month, accelerated program consisting of a standard 36 semester hour MBA curriculum.  To qualify, students must have completed 12 semester hours of foundational coursework.  These hours can be completed by way of a standard Bachelor of Business Administration degree or additional graduate coursework at Shenandoah.

 

These programs both operate on a unique alternating weekend schedule with classes being held on Friday nights and all day Saturdays.

Kansas State University

The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) at Kansas State University utilizes cutting-edge technologies to help working adults pursue their educational needs without relocating to the K-State campus. DCE offers Evening College, Intersession, and distance education, allowing students working full-time to complete coursework during convenient hours and without having to leave their current job. The Division also works with military students and their families on campus and at the Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth military posts.  

 

 

Eastern University

Palmer Seminary of Eastern University specializes in preparing men and women for holistic Christian ministry, including pastoral ministry, chaplaincy ministry, missionary service, and para-church ministry. Since its founding in 1925 as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Palmer has been known for its dual commitments to evangelical theology and social justice, including a deep concern for the poor and disenfranchised.
The Seminary offers the Master of Divinity degree; the Master of Theological Studies degree (with six areas of specialization); and two dual degree programs (M.Div./M.S.W. and M.Div./M.B.A.)  Major tuition discounts are available to students who commit to full-time study. Palmer recently initiated 30 half-tuition scholarships (per year) to qualified students, 10 each in honor of professor Ron Sider, New Testament scholar Manfred Brauch, and social activist Jim Wallis.

Old Dominion University

Programs for Continued Learning Department (PCL) will focus on the Virginia Department of Education Career Switcher Program at Old Dominion University.
  

 

CORBAN COLLEGE

The mission of the Adult Degree Programs at Corban College is to assist adults in personal, professional and spiritual development, equipping them to impact their community.

 

Corban College offers both campus-based and online adult degree completion programs, Weekend College, and testing services, all of which allow busy professionals to earn a bachelor’s degree. College credit may also be awarded for learning related life experience.

 

Corban’s adult degree program majors (Business & Organizational Leadership and Psychology: Family Studies) are designed especially for working adults who have a minimum of two years college credit (60 semester hours).  Class sizes are limited to accommodate the experiential learning techniques.
