Sal Elmo, Jr. 

 

Sal Elmo, Jr. brings a wealth of experience to his clients. His career profile highlights his accomplishments in learning and development, performance improvement, and leadership skills. Specifically, Sal provides expertise in coaching, curriculum development, sales, marketing, human performance technology, and employee relations. He is bilingual in Spanish and has conducted related training throughout Mexico and Latin America.

 

Most recently as an Accenture Manager, Sal was responsible for managing large scale human capital management projects. He provided deep subject matter expertise in the design and development of leadership programs that assist in Accenture client engagements. In addition to his work with Accenture, Sal was successful in a number of positions within a number of organizations. Sal was Director for Lead Management Associates LLC, in Lexington, Kentucky, in management development and leadership training. Sal delivered Diversity Leadership Training for Franklin Covey Corporate Clients and he is a Master Facilitator for Dr. Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

 

For Lexmark International (Lexington, Kentucky) Sal worked in talent management as well as leadership management development. He also developed curriculum as their Education Programs Manager, and he hired 1,000 managers and manufacturing staff as an Employment and Resource Planning Manager.

 

Sal worked for IBM/Lexmark Interntional (Lexington, Kentucky) as an Employee Relations Specialist. As a Field Service Operations and Acquisitions Manger for IBM/Lexmark, Sal spearheaded a global parts replenishment process. He managed a staff of fourteen international buyers and production analyzers and was responsible for a $22 million parts inventory.

 

Sal’s clients represent a variety of industries including information technology, services, sales organizations, health care, and laser printer manufacturing. Sal has also worked successfully with faith based organizations, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations.

 

Sal hold’s a MBA in Organizational Behavior and Finance from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Connecticut. He has a B.A. in Humanities at Providence College in Rhode Island.

 

Sal is certified in Reality Therapy and has published an article for the Journal of Reality Therapy entitled “Using Lead Management in an Engineering Environment.” He has also completed a number of IBM management programs, and he was recognized six times in the IBM Marketing and Sales 100 % Club.

 

Sal currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife Maria Eugenia. He has two children. His hobbies include walking their dogs, Maya and DiDi, reading, and creating military dioramas. He also donates time with the Hispanic community in Lexington, Kentucky.
