“Successful mangers lead their employees to achieve their best results when they manage and control their own behaviors in proactive ways and not focus on “controlling” people. Successful managers lead their people most effectively by ensuring that their people are “in control” of what they do by providing clear expectations, defined parameters, well-designed work processes, required equipment, measurement tools, the right skill training, knowledge, needed information, necessary resources, and management support and guidance.”
